Glossary

A list of common terms, abbreviations, and lingo used in the game.

• BB = The Burning Blade
• Bird = Sally, the Phoenix, or Shade Phoenix, depending on context
• BS = Black Sanctum
• BS Run = Killing the four Black Sanctum bosses: Occularis, Diark, Yeldir, and Malice
• BZ = Balzackia
• Cata = The Catacombs
• CJ = Conjurer
• CK = Crypt Knight
• CL = Cleric
• Clops = Cyclops
• Colo = The Colosseum
• Crux = Malevolent Crucifix
• Crypt = The Warrior's Crypt
• Dailies = Doing the Black Sanctum quests for Sanctum Badges
• DO = Defiled One, a popular mid- to late-game grinding companion
• Dust(ing) = the practice of grinding for XP and gold with a companion that knows the Dust Storm ability or with a Ninja that knows the SmokeBomb ability
• Ebon = short for any of the set items found after defeating Occularis or Malice along with the helmets/hats that go with those items sold by one of two Black Sanctum vendors
• FBC = The Frozen Brain Cage
• FNG = Frozen Ninja Glove
• gg = Either "Good game" (said after a duel) or "Gold Grind" (when looking for a group to earn money with)
• Grind(ing) = Killing monsters for experience and gold (ie. not questing)
• Hook or HS = Hookshot
• KoB = The Kris of Blessings
• LFG = looking for group/guild
• LF1M = looking for one more (party member)
• MA = Meteorite Armband
• Mal = short for one of the rare weapons found in the Black Sanctum or short for Malice, depending on context
• MC = Merchant
• MG, Middy or Mid = Midgard
• Monks = the mini mages: Diark and Yeldir
• MP = Market Place or Magic Points, depending on context
• MSA = Metal Slime Armor
• MSR = Mage Slime Robes
• MSS = Metal Slime Shield
• mt = "miss tell", which means you spoke in the wrong chat
• NJ = Ninja
• Occ or Occy = Occularis
• Pet(s) = Companion(s)
• Proc = Programmed random occurrence
• QG = Quest Giver
• Reggie = Rehgor or Shade Rehgor, depending on context
• RG = Ranger or Rage, depending on context
• SCK = Shade Crypt Knight
• SCV = Shadowy Chaos Vestment
• SD = Soldier
• SotS = Sword Of The Sanctum or Staff of the Sanctum, depending on context
• tnl = 'til next level
• twink = a level 18-20 character created primarily for participating in official PvP tournaments
• WKS = Wraith King Sceptre
• WL = Warlock
• Worm = Procrastor or Shade Procrastor, depending on context
• wtb = want to buy
• wts = want to sell
• WZ = Wizard
• Zen = short for "Zenithia" (a server)

As well as most common internet chat lingo: brb, brt, omw, atm, afk, etc.

Note: Yes, we all know "Balzack" sounds like "Ball sack". Please don't mention this on wsay (we've heard it more than enough times).
