An ability set into certain Weapons, Armors and Offhand equipment that makes the said item Soul Bound upon picking it up. Therefore no other player can use, equip or hold that item except for those on your own Byond Key. Examples of these kinds of Soul Bound items come from equipment in chests, Black Sanctum boss rewards and Black Sanctum shop Weapons, Offhands and Helmets.
