Special Move: Heal
The guardian is a really tough boss. He casts a barrier spell which will make all but one of the 4 rods invincible. Once you find out which one is vulnerable, it can be defeated, after which the vulnerable one will shift, until eventually you can attack the Guardian itself rather than one of the rods.
