Used by: Malice

Cost: ??

Target: Single, All

Type: Offensive

Effect: The attacker swallows a single target but does no damage, instead preventing the target from taking any actions or being affected by any spell or attack. The target does not lose any active buffs while consumed, not even if the attacker uses an ability that would dispel one or more of those buffs while the target is consumed. The attacker can not consume more than a single target at a time but is also rendered immune to abilities that can inflict Sleep for as long as the target stays consumed.

After two rounds have passed, the attacker spits out the target, dealing heavy physical damage to all targets including the formerly consumed. This attack acts as the first of the attacker's turns. If the attacker uses an ability that involves charging, such as Dragon's Fury, after two rounds have passed then the target remains consumed and the spit can not occur until after the charging ability is complete.

Since the first part of Consume is considered a single-target attack, a player or companion with access to the Guard ability can take the 'hit' in place of the attacker's intended target if so desired.
