Logan: “Beyond the portal you'll find monsters called Boomers, which can explode at will! I would love the chance to study the energy they put out. If you take this magic crystal and hold it up when a Boomer explodes on you, it will absorb some of the energy. Be warned: the crystal will not fully protect you!”

Directions

1. Obtain quest from Logan in Verity.
2. Obtain the Depleted Magic Crystal from Logan.
3. Encounter Boomers in battle and have them explode five times. In order for the crystal to receive a charge, a party member must hold up the crystal, a Boomer must explode on that party member, and that party member must survive the explosion.
4. Return to Logan.
