One of the Pirate Ghosts wandering through Piatta Cave is Captain Rum Chugger. In order to progress the Dead Men Tell No Tales quest (found in the Pirate Base) a player/party must find the correct Pirate Ghost (chosen at random when the player/party enters the cave) and talk to it. Talking to any other Pirate Ghost results in a fight, albeit one that the player/party can run away from.
