Ivar: “On the shores far north of Piatta roam Giant Crabs, which are considered a delicacy. Use this cage to catch one and I'll cook my famous Giant Crab Cakes!”

Directions

  1. Obtain quest from Chef Ivar in Piatta.
  2. (optional) Purchase one or more pieces of Crab Bait from a pirate just outside of the Pirate Base.
  3. Encounter a Giant Crab in battle and defeat it. Using a piece of Crab Bait on the crab before defeating it will greatly increase the odds of it joining after the battle ends.
  4. Return to Chef Ivar once a Giant Crab has joined.

NOTE: Completing this quest requires having a Giant Crab in the party. After the quest is completed the crab is removed from the party AND from the player's ranch. A player must catch more than one crab if they plan on keeping one as a companion as well as completing the quest.
