Reputation, like experience and gold, is a resource that can be earned by winning battles and by completing quests. Accumulating reputation is the only way to increase rank in any of the regions in the game, which in turn is the only way to recruit certain monsters such as [[Bad Frosty]] or a [[Ghost]].
